The Business Factory was created in the end of 2002, mainly filling in a strong market gap on steering marketing and sales people over a short term notice and corporate project management tasks. At that time, many ICT related (direct of indirect) companies where still suffering from the dot com crash and were affraid to invest in new technologies and people. Having a great deal of experience in this area, Jeroen De Backer decided to start a consulting company called The Business Factory.
